I graduated from the department of physics in Kyoto University.~
Now I'm in the 2nd year of my doctor course in the physics department.

I'm so interested in the optical properties of materials.~
I want to reveal how things and light
make impacts on each other as well as how we can control them.
My research is focused on the many-body physics of excited states in condensed matters.
Such systems show distinct properties from ground states, which arise from the correlations among various degrees of freedom and the nonequilibrium nature of the systems.

My recent research is mainly focused on the electronic states
in highly excited semiconductors.~
This system shows fascinating phenomena such as the stimulated emission of photons(lasing), metal-insulator transition and quantum fluidity.~
As an unique system, I'm working on diamonds.
